Ingredients
- Rohi/Bhakura (Rohu/Catla) - 1 KG
- Haladi Gunda (Turmeric Powder) - 1 Tbsp
- Luna (Salt) - 1 Tbsp
- Jeera (Cumin Seeds) - 1 Tbsp
- Adaa (Zinger) - 20 Gms
- Rasuna (Garlic) - 40 cloves
- Sukhila Lanka (Dry Chilly) - 8 Nos.
- Sorisa Tela (Mustard Oil) - 200 ml
Procedure:
- Cut the fish into thin and round slices after removing the scales.
- Wash the cut pieces
- To marinate add turmeric powder and salt to the cut pieces, mix it well and leave it for 15 mins
- Grind the cumin seeds, zinger, garlic, red chillies in to a fine paste.
- Add the paste into the marinated fish pieces and mix well
- Put the frying pan on the gas stove with medium flame till its hot
- Sprinkle oil on the frying pan (200 ml oil should be used for 1 KG)
- Let the oil become hot
- Fry the fish pieces till its little red on the frying side and then fry the other side
- After its properly fried (golden red color on both sides) transfer the pieces to the plate
- Serve hot
You can add one spoon of lemon juice, and corn floor (andaz se)while marinating. Adding the ginger garlic paste ate the time of marination itself gives a better flavor.Marinate for minimum half an hour.

ReplyDeleteLovely recipe... I like the specific measures 200 ml FOR 1 KG. My fish fry is similar but nonetheless your preparation looks yummy
